Before sewing, you need to secure the parts with pins, checking the symmetry of their placement.
The NOSE is sewn to the head so that its center is at the level of the 11th row of the head.
EYES are sewn close to each other above the nose (~9 row) using reinforced thread, folded in half.
You need to mark one hole between the stitches from the bottom of the back of the head for inserting and removing the needle, where all the ends of the threads will come out.
The following actions are repeated for both eyes:
The needle is inserted into the selected hole so that a tip of the thread is left for tying.
Then it is brought out at the place of attachment of the eye.
After threading the eye, it is brought back to the hole at the back of the head.
At the end, the tips of the threads from each eye are slightly tightened and tied together in several knots. Then they are brought out through the hole from which they come out, into the head (the knots then go inside).
Sewing the HEAD is carried out approximately along the penultimate row of the body (3 rows above the arms), along the line of maximum contact with the body at this place. Alternately, the stitches of the head fabric are then the stitches of the body fabric are picked up.
The BEARD is positioned so that the end of the thread left for sewing is on the right side of the toy. At the same time, the indentation in the central part of the beard is right under the nose, and the side corners of the beard are secured approximately under the row where the eyes are sewn. Sewing is carried out behind the back loops.
The HAT is sewn along the edge so that the distance from the eyes to the edge of the hat is 1 row in front, and at the back the edge of the hat passes close to the bottom of the head.
BOOTS are sewn at the bottom of the body in the center, with the distance from the center to the inner edge of each boot being 1-1.5 rows.
TRIM AT THE BOTTOM OF THE COAT. The front side will be the side where the face of the 1st row of SBN is located. It is sewn from the front and sides under the 9th row of the body, a little higher at the back, so that the placement of the trim is as horizontal as possible. At the end, the edges of the trim are sewn together.
