Our own statistics (no cookies)
To understand which articles are useful we keep first-party, cookieless statistics: the page visited, the referring website, campaign parameters, country (derived from the request, the IP address itself is not stored), device type and browser. Visitors are counted with a daily rotating, irreversible hash, so we cannot identify you or follow you across days.
Advertising
We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure their performance. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message, and you can change your choice at any time via "Privacy & cookie settings" in the footer. Accounts
If you create an account we store your name, e-mail, chosen topics, saved articles and notification settings. Signing in with Google shares your name, e-mail and profile picture with us. You can change your settings or ask us to delete your account at any time.
E-mails
We only send digests and newsletters you have switched on. Every e-mail contains a one-click unsubscribe link.
Security
Forms are protected with Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam. Data is stored with providers in the EU/US under appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) you can request access, correction, deletion or export of your data, and object to processing. Contact us through the contact page.
