Fluffy Bunny Wonderful Playmate
Utilizing simple knitting techniques like increases, decreases, and knitting in the round, this pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters. The finished bunny, adorned with a pom-pom hat and tiny embroidered features, makes for an adorable gift or a sweet addition to your collection.
Materials:
Pehorka Children's Novelty yarn in white and turquoise colors (100% acrylic, 50g - 200m.)
Alize Kid Mohair yarn in white color (62% kid mohair, 38% polyamide, 25g, 250m)
I add this to the white acrylic to make the bunny fluffy. You can directly use any fluffy yarn of suitable thickness.
A bit of pink yarn for the nose
A set of 2.5 size double-pointed needles
Filler (I use holofiber)
6mm half-beads for eyes
The height of the finished bunny including ears is 10 cm

knit – knit stitch
purl – purl stitch
dec – decrease (knit two stitches together)
inc – increase (make two stitches out of one)

Lower Part Of The Bunny (Sweater):
Cast on 6 stitches with turquoise yarn. Distribute them on 4 needles and knit in the round.
Row 1: increase (inc) 6 times = 12 stitches
Row 2: (knit 1, inc) repeat 6 times = 18 stitches
Row 3: (knit 2, inc) repeat 6 times = 24 stitches
Row 4: knit all 24 stitches
Row 5: (knit 3, inc) repeat 6 times = 30 stitches
Rows 6-8: knit all 30 stitches
Row 9: (knit 4, inc) repeat 6 times = 36 stitches
Rows 10-14: knit all 36 stitches
Row 15: (inc, knit 8) repeat 4 times = 40 stitches
Rows 16-25: knit in 2x2 rib (knit 2, purl 2)
Bind off the stitches.
Upper Part (Bunny's Head):
Inside the sweater, from the stitches of the last row before the ribbing, pick up 40 stitches with white yarn (acrylic + mohair) on 4 needles.
Row 1: (knit 8, decrease (dec)) repeat 4 times = 36 stitches
Rows 2-6: knit all 36 stitches
Row 7: (knit 4, dec) repeat 6 times = 30 stitches
Rows 8-12: knit all 30 stitches
Stuff the bunny.
Knitting The Ears:
For the first ear, distribute 12 stitches across 4 needles.
Transfer the remaining 18 stitches to an additional needle.
Knit the ear:
Rows 1-10: knit all 12 stitches
Row 11: decrease (dec), knit 2, dec, dec, knit 2, dec = 8 stitches
Row 12: knit all 8 stitches
Row 13: dec 4 times = 4 stitches
Pull the stitches tight to close.
Remove three stitches from each end of the additional needle and alternately place them onto a needle. You will have 6 stitches on the needle.
Close off these stitches.
Distribute the remaining 12 stitches onto 4 needles and knit the second ear identical to the first.
Hat:
Cast on 40 stitches with turquoise yarn. Distribute the stitches onto 4 needles and knit in the round.

Fluff up the tail and ears of the bunny.
Sew on the tail.
Glue on the eyes.
