The sleeve is loose-fitting, tightened at the bottom with a narrow and elongated cuff. The bottom, cuffs, and placket are knitted with ribbing (2 knit stitches, 1 purl stitch).

This cardigan features a very interesting pattern that from a distance resembles carved exotic leaves. The pattern looks so interesting largely because of the yarn – thick one hundred percent cotton (the pattern holds its shape well, does not spread). The yarn is approximately 200 meters in 100 grams, or even thicker.

The cardigan is sold in two colors: pink and cream. On this photograph, the manufacturer has indicated the measurements of the cardigan for size S (Russian 44) and the body parameters of the girl (her size is 42). The length of the cardigan and the sleeves will be individual for each person. And the width needs to be increased by 2 cm for each subsequent size (if you want the same ease of fit as in the photo).

Two schemes have been composed for this cardigan because the right and left front panels are knitted in mirror reflection.

The first scheme is for the left front panel of the cardigan. The scheme for the right and wrong rows is drawn with one repeat in height and three across the width. The scheme is given for circular knitting (so the stitches appear as they would on the front side).

Two repeats (right and left) are the side ones, so the pattern is knitted at the beginning and at the end of the piece. First, we knit stitches from 1 to 33, then repeat from 13 to 33, and finish the left front panel with stitches from 34 to 49.

In total, we cast on a number of stitches that is a multiple of 16 plus one stitch for symmetry.
